About UsThe Preschool Enrichment Team (P.E.T), a non-profit resource, referral, professional development, quality enhancement and career advancement agency since 1976, offers:
- Information for parents on choosing child care, referrals to licensed child care programs and consumer education materials on quality child care.
- P.E.T. is a part of the Massachusetts Child Care Resource and Referral Network. We cover Hampden and Berkshire counties. For Massachusetts child care resource and referral agencies outside of Hampden and Berkshire Counties, please visit www.masschildcare.org Outside of Massachusetts, visit www.childcareaware.org
- Training and assistance on core competencies, national accreditation, QRIS, career advancement, coaching and mentoring and much more. for early childhood educators.
- P.E.T. is the lead agency for the Western Massachusetts Educator and Provider Support initiative through the Department of Early Education and Care.
- Outreach to, and collaboration with, other community based agencies serving children, families and child care programs.
P.E.T. is supported by the generosity of public and private funders, individual donors, private contracts and community partners.
