What are the ECERS & ITERS?

The Early Childhood Environmental Rating Scale (ECERS) and Infant/Toddler Environmental Rating Scale (ITERS) are tools used to assess your program's classroom environments. Both the ECERS and ITERS are also used as measurement tools in QRIS at levels 2,3, and 4.

The Quality Enhancement Team is available to provide both informational trainings and classroom observations for your program.

At this time we are only able to provide observations for Level 2 of the QRIS System.
