Training
Training Department For over 35 years the Preschool Enrichment Team has been providing trainings to the Early Childhood and Out of School Time field of educators with funding from the Department of Early Education and Care (DEEC), regional collaborations, and private donations.
Our trainings are geared towards all levels of educators whether you are new to the field or a seasoned provider. Every training opportunity offers approved DEEC training hours and many offer Continuing Education Units (C.E.U.s).
In 2010 DEEC launched a regional approach to accessing professional development opportunities under the Educator and Provider Support grant (EPS) and the Preschool Enrichment Team is the regional lead agency for professional development services in Hampden, Hampshire, Franklin and Berkshire counties. This regional support is a collaboration of several agencies and institutions of higher education and is called Educator and Provider Support of Western Massachusetts (EPS of Western MA). Preschool Enrichment Team is also the host of an Annual Early Childhood Conference each March. This conference is an exciting, full day event including a keynote address, 16 workshop sessions and an exhibit area. More than 300 educators from across New England attend each year and is not an event to be missed!
Trainings vary in length, location and days of the week. More than 2800 educators participate in Preschool Enrichment Team trainings each year. Click on the training calendar to view and register for trainings. We hope you will join us!
