Education specialists from the Preschool Enrichment Team will join museum educators to present an overview of the STEAM topics including simple machines, sound and vibration, dinosaurs, and an artistic approach to sculpture while turning trash into treasure! Educators will have an opportunity to explore the galleries of the Springfield Science Museum and the Museum of Fine Arts and participate in hands-on activities that can be shared with children in their programs. During the third session of the PLC, participants will be encouraged to showcase the activities they offered to their children during STEM week.
