Educators are reporting an increase in the frequency of challenging behaviors in their programs. Research is also demonstrating the need for a more trauma-informed and comprehensive approach in working with children and families. Come and learn how to improve the social-emotional climate in your program and decrease the incidences of negative behaviors. Using a CSEFEL model we will set the foundation with building warm and nurturing relationships, explore ways to enhance the program structure to support an atmosphere of mutual respect and growth, and develop guidance and intervention strategies that address the challenging behaviors you are struggling with.
