Research on brain development supports the value of high quality early childhood education programs for young children. This training will guide you in planning mindful, intentional curriculum for preschool age children using the Department of Early Education and Care Guidelines for Preschool Learning Experiences and how to incorporate those standards into daily practice.
You will need to bring a copy of the Guidelines for Preschool Learning Experiences (also known as the “green book”) to the Professional Development training. We will be referencing this document throughout our training.
